In addition to the scarves, these one of a kind hand-knitted hats were also part of the Hospice Wellington fundraising event, the Tree of Remembrance, which ran at the Stone Road Mall in Guelph from December 1-22, 2023.
By making a donation, Hospice supporters were able to choose any hat that was still available from among the 170 hats that I knitted for them. These donations gave important support to an organization that provides loving, extraordinary care to families at the most difficult of times.
